Enrolment Procedure

After reading over the information in our prospectus and the accompanying information on our Web site, you are more than welcome to apply for one of our courses.

We have three stages to our student entry process:

  1. Application - your formal expression of interest in enrolling
  2. Interview - our setting out requirements and determining your eligibility to enrol
  3. Enrolment - you securing a place in the course through a formal and legal contract

Stage

Further Information

Stage 1

Application

Fill out the application form and attach the supporting documentation requested in the form. Please note requirements may vary from course to course.

  • You must submit all information before having an interview.
  • Please post or courier your application to us.
  • We highly suggest you photocopy or scan your application and supporting information prior to sending it to us in case it gets lost in the post.
  • If you are applying for a professional development course, and trained with us in the last 5 years or so, we may not need proof of learning or to interview you. We will confirm this with you.

If you are applying for a short professional development course like the Statement of Achievement in Brazilian Waxing:

  • You only need to submit your application and proof of holding the pre-requisite qualification(s); and
  • If we approve your application, you can skip the interview and go directly to enrolment. You will need to download and read the Student Handbook.

If you are an existing student wanting to enrol in another course with us, you merely need to see Jacqui or Scott for enrolment documentation and skip to the enrolment stage.

Stage 2

Interview

The interview has three parts, all of which you must attend

  • The tour of our campus (timetable permitting)
  • The interview presentation
  • An individual interview

At the interview, we give you a Student Handbook with information about our policies and procedures relevant to your enrolment. Alternatively, download it from our Web site.

Our representatives evaluate whether you are suitable for the course during the interview by assessing you against the requirements of the course through both the interview and your submitted information.

Up to a week after your interview, we will notify you in writing if we are offering you a place in the course. If we reject your application, we reserve the right not to reveal our reasons.

Stage 3

Enrolment

Fill out the enrolment form and, if applicable, other accompanying forms. Please note requirements may vary from course to course.

You will need to enrol within two weeks (normal enrolment period) or as soon as possible (late enrolment period). We encourage you to enrol as soon as possible to avoid disappointment or if you need a specific (morning or afternoon) place in your course (if available).

If we offer you a place in the course during the late enrolment period, we cannot guarantee a place is available, only that you meet our entry criteria.

If you complete the enrolment successfully, we will notify you in writing that we are holding a specific place for you in the course. You should start attending the course on the first day. You must submit the information required to satisfy the enrolment requirements before you can be accepted into the course.

Once enrolment is completed, you will receive:

  • a letter confirming enrolment. This letter will include your ID number; and
  • a copy of your enrolment form. Please keep it in a safe place; and
  • a copy of your Public Trust application, if applicable.

Equal Opportunity Study Statement

We will be fair in all areas of study. We do not discriminate on the basis of colour, creed, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or cultural beliefs. Disability will be considered as long as it does not preclude you from performing your assigned tasks (and thereby qualifying) and does not endanger the health and safety of employees, other students and visitors. We are dedicated to helping students achieve and succeed and have referrals to appropriate support bodies and agencies if required to facilitate this.
